Ninety6 Mobile Application/ Interface Designer
The problem: Customers preffered to shop specific items in store because they favored having the opportunity to try the product on.
The Solution: Our solution was to create an application that through augmented reality technology would allow shoppers to be able to see how a product would look in real-time in the environment around them to enhance their shopping experience outside of the retail location.
My Role: As the Interface designer my primary role was to create all visual designs and prototypes to translate our idea into visual representation. My interface allowed testers to get the look and feel of how a unique interaction with this application would feel like. Also included in my role was to design all of the 3D models utilized for the Augmented reality experience inside of the virtual fitting room
Interactive Prototype: This High-Fidelity interactive prototype was developed for the developer to showcase the look and feel of how the app would function in real time.
Takeaways: Throughout this design process communication was pivotal to make sure that the developer understood exactly how the application functionalities. The Interactive prototype served as a great reference. We had regular sprints to see if we were on the same page with our designs and the vision to make sure that each piece worked together.
